A master class for mental health clinicians
You’ve completed your foundational PRT training. You have the conceptual framework, the core toolkit, and enough clinical experience to know how much harder the real cases are than the theory: the client who won’t accept their diagnosis, the one whose symptoms spike right when progress stalls, the one where nothing in the toolkit seems to land.
This 7-week mastery training is designed for mental health clinicians who are ready to work at the level where clinical judgment matters most. Each week combines a live, interactive 90-minute session with an asynchronous assignment built around real PRT sessions, so you’re not just learning what to do; you’re watching it happen in the room and building the instincts to do it yourself.
This training includes 10.5 hours of live instruction and 3.5 hours of on-demand video, plus asynchronous coursework, spread across seven weeks, and equips participants to:
- Identify and adapt to different patient profiles to inform treatment planning from the very first session
- Calibrate assertiveness in presenting a neuroplastic diagnosis
- Navigate barriers to diagnosis acceptance
- Build a real-time decision-making framework for selecting and sequencing somatic tracking, leaning into positive sensations, and the process across the arc of treatment
- Recognize when tools backfire and know how to recover without losing the clinical frame
- Apply PRT tools to anxiety-driven, trauma-related, and emotionally complex presentations
- Work with clients whose pain is rooted in suppressed or unprocessed emotion
- Recognize the relapse cycle and help clients reverse-engineer a positive emotional state during a flare
- Distinguish between plateau, setback, and relapse, and adjust treatment accordingly
- Integrate all of the above into a full case conceptualization, from intake through the end of treatment
This training awards 14 CEUs and a Mastery status in our Directory of Practitioners to mental health professionals.
